Since commencement in Australia in the early 1960s, Landscape Architecture continues to be an exciting field of endeavour with a myriad of career and speciality options available. The outlook for the profession is confident with continued growth and opportunity in a world where our range of services will become increasingly important.

There is a wide variety of work currently undertaken by Landscape Architects, and the opportunities are set to expand. Landscape Architects deal in advisory services that are central to many of society’s significant social and environmental challenges, initiatives and projects in both the public and private sectors.

A wide range of Landscape Architectural employment is available including local government, state government, small private practice and large private practice, each bringing its own challenges and rewards.
