Conferences & Tours

MNLA has undertaken a number of Senior Staff Study Tours throughout Australia as a method of expanding our experience and knowledge by seeing first hand the best in landscape architecture from around the country. MNLA have also attended various conferences throughout the country in support of staff learning and expanding our in-house knowledge. MNLA plan to continue our commitment to learning by undertaking future study tours and building our industry contacts nationwide. Likely tour locations include Sydney, Canberra, Adelaide, Singapore and Hong Kong.

Mar 2010 - UDIA National Conference SYDNEY
In early March 2010, MNLA senior staff from the Sydney, Perth and Busselton offices will attend the UDIA National Conference in Sydney NSW in support of our award winning projects who gained entry into the UDIA national awards programme. In addition to attending the conference senior staff will also conduct an in-house study tour to recent relevant projects in Sydney.

Feb 2010 - SYDNEY
In mid February 2010, MNLA senior staff from the Perth, Sydney and Busselton offices were treated to a study tour of landscape related project work in Sydney NSW over a 3 day period. Projects and developments visited included:

May 2009 - AILA National Conference, MELBOURNE
MNLA attended the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects National conference in Victoria. MNLA attended many talks, presentations and discussion workshops on landscape architecture, sustainable development, green roof construction, recycled materials and urban design. MNLA attended study tours including the revitalisation of the St Kilda foreshore.

Nov 2007 – NORTH QUEENSLAND
All senior staff from the Perth and Busselton offices visited North Queensland for a 5 day period and met with local landscape architects and project managers. Our senior staff toured the following projects:
